Sarah’s Circle

Sarah’s Circle will be meeting on Saturday October 14 from 10am until 12 noon in the Fellowship Room. Those who wish to join in the meditation period may come at 9:20am. We will be discussing Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. This book is back in the public eyes these days for two reasons, which have somewhat intertwined: Hulu has an original series based on this book that is generating lots of buzz, and many anti-Trumpcare protesters have come dressed as “Handmaids” from the Hulu show to protest the GOP health plan (which is notorious for stripping women’s reproductive health services from coverage).
