Christian Education

Sunday school

On May 1, children will go to Sunday school at 10 am, the start of church, but we won’t have Communion on May 1, so children will just stay in Sunday school for the whole worship service.  We’ll have Communion on May 15, Confirmation Sunday.  This will be a family friendly service and children will stay in church for the worship service and we’ll have Communion at the end.  Nursery care will be available.

Youth Sunday is on June 12.  We’ll be talking more about this in Sunday school this month.

Youth Group

  • May 1—stay in worship service
  • May 8—make dessert for community supper
  • May 15—Confirmation and Pentecost, stay in worship service
  • May 22— prepare for Youth Sunday
  • May 29—stay in worship service

There will be no regular Sunday school on May 29, Memorial Day weekend.  We’ll have one multi age class and nursery care.  Our lesson will be Welcome home—the story of the prodigal son.
