From their 2009 website is this message: “With a new year upon us, all of us look to the future with hope for brighter days and with gratitude for our caring community…

Together we are all facing many challenges, and we want to reach more families who need us in 2009. We have ten families on our waiting list, and dozens of volunteers to train. Our goal is to increase from two full time staff members to four full time staff members in the coming six months, but we need to raise over $100,000 to come close to that goal. Our Annual Fund is our most cost effective fundraiser, so please support our families now so we can reach our goal.”
