Sally Rogers (pictured) and Bill Albright led a dedication of a picture hanging in the Fellowship Room to commemorate the Pleasant Street Congregational Church and its contributions to the community.  The Pleasant Street Congregational Church closed in 2011.  In a statement at the ceremony, Sally said:

“Frequently life offers unpleasant events and we have learned to carry on. The closing of Arlington’s Congregational Church after 168 years has helped us to celebrate the past and to give us the gifts to each other to love, to comfort, and to sustain us in the spirit of Christ. As we honor our sister congregation with the placing of the photograph above, we also honor Park Avenue Congregational Church as they, too, become sacred places of a community. For everything there is a reason, and a time for every matter under heaven. Amen.”

The church gave many of its historical documents to the Congregational Library in Boston:
