Cello Through the Ages

By Kathleen Fink

Come hear Cello Masterworks in a variety of styles spanning 200 years on November 6 at 3 PM. Cellist, Nick Dinnerstein, will be performing with pianist Synthia Sture at this first of the four-concert series to benefit our music program. The event takes place in the Sanctuary of the Park Avenue Congregational Church in Arlington. Tickets in advance are $15 adults and $10 seniors and students; and at the door $20 and $12. A post-concert Artists’ reception will be held in the Parish Hall.

Selections will include works in styles ranging from Baroque to 20th Century. This is a rare opportunity to experience the exquisite rich voice of the cello as it has been used through the centuries in a setting with excellent acoustics.
