Holiday Fair

November 11-12, 2011

Park Avenue Congregational Church at 50 Paul Revere Road in Arlington Heights is pleased to announce that the annual Holiday Fair will be held on Friday, November 11 from 6 to 9 and on Saturday, November 12 from 9 to 2.

The Fair will once again feature the popular Lasagna Dinner on Friday evening, starting at 5:30, as well as the Pie Shoppe with lots of delectable choices. Early shoppers on Saturday can visit the Coffee Shoppe and then enjoy a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon starting at 11:30.

Both days everyone will have an opportunity to purchase holiday crafts, hand-made gifts, knit items, doll clothes, books, and jewelry. Visit the baked goods table to buy all sorts of delicious treats and the country store table to see what is there for you. There will also be a table featuring attic treasures – better than average white elephants. Come and see what you can’t do without! And the ever popular cookie walk will again provide a wide variety and large supply of some of the best cookies anywhere.

Photos and silhouettes will be featured this year, These beautiful silhouettes make great gifts. Individuals, families, infants and even pets are welcome to have a portrait or silhouette made!

This year the silent auction will include specially themed gift baskets. These will be designed and assembled by various church members and may include themes such as Arlington, coffee/tea, baby doll,beauty, and chocolate. Come and bid on these fun items as well as the many other donations that will be part of the auction.
