Mission & Justice: Germaine Lawrence

Germaine Lawrence, Inc. is New England’s leading provider of residential treatment services for at-risk adolescent girls. They offer 105 beds in seven treatment centers, serving over 250 girls annually. The average length of stay is one year in their long term programs and up to three months in their short term programs. Each year, approximately 80% of their girls successfully complete their treatment goals and return to their family or community.

Girls who have been, or are at risk for being, commercially sexually exploited

Eating disorders
Katharine E. Merck Treatment Center:
Individualized treatment for high risk behaviors – 18 bed facility
Muriel Snowden Program:
Individualized treatment for high risk behaviors – 15 bed facility
Tubman Treatment Residence (BTR):
Therapeutic treatment with a community school component
