2018-2019 PACC Concert Series

Concert tickets are sold during coffee hour at church, generally starting about a month prior to the concert.  You may also call the church office at 781-643-8680 to reserve tickets in advance, which will be held at the box office.  The “box office” and doors open 1/2 hour before each concert and tickets may be purchased at the door.

International award winning pianist Liana Paniyeva has performed at international festivals in Norway, Syria, Hungary, Canada, Italy, and Israel. Most recently, Ms. Paniyeva played in concert halls of Scotland, South Africa, and has performed three times at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

 

Amadi Azikiwe, violin and viola

Amadi Azikiwe performs “An Evening of Suites”, featuring Suite no. 4 in E flat and Suite no. 5 in c minor by Johann Sebastian Bach, and works for solo violin and viola by the American composer Jessie Montgomery (recently Composer in Residence at the Albany Symphony), and the Chinese composer Bright Sheng (on faculty of University of Michigan).  More information on these composers is available at:

The PACC Concert Series presents its Christmas gift to the community – a festive fun magical mix of choral, solo and instrumental music, and the opportunity to enjoy singing Christmas carols with the PACC Festival and Youth choirs. The music ranges from traditional British selections  to American Spirituals, to 17th century liturgical and some fun surprises.  Artists in Residence, Vox Lucens, an early music A cappella group will be special guests.  More information on them may be found at their website www.voxlucens.net.  In lieu of tickets, a free will donation will be taken.
