Bible Study

We have two active bible study groups:

  • Tuesday afternoons at 1:15pm: The Adult Bible Study group meets at Sunrise Assisted Living, 1395 Massachusetts Avenue, in Arlington Heights. Topics vary, and the discussion is always lively. The Reverend Bill Albright is a very well-read man and enjoys deep discussion. He likes to bring up comparisons with other religions and philosophies to open up the subject into new areas of enlightenment and thought.

  • Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm: The Evening Bible Group generally meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.  As of April 2008, the group has just finished a season-long, in-depth journey through the "Acts of the Apostles" in the New Testament. We will conclude this season with a viewing and discussion of the movie "The Book of Acts" in two parts on Wednesday evenings, May 14 and 21, from 7:30-9:30pm. We have not yet determined whether we will meet this summer nor what we will do for our Fall/Winter 2008-2009 study program. We are led by the Reverend Bill Albright who brings a vast amount of scholarship to our Bible study discussions. We are a group of intelligent, vocal, and enthusiastic participants with a wide array of knowledge of the Bible (or not). All are welcome to join us at any time.
