Sarah’s Circle

July 2016

Our July meeting will be on Saturday, July 16th, in the Fellowship Room from 10 AM to 12 noon as usual with meditation at 9:30 for those who wish to join in.  We have selected Spider Woman’s Granddaughters: Traditional Tales and Contemporary Writing by Native American Women— a powerful collection of traditional tales, biographical writings, and contemporary short stories, many by the most accomplished Native American women writing today. Paula Gunn Allen enriches our understanding with her scholarly and analytical headnotes.

Our August meeting will be on Saturday, August 13th when we will focus on women in poetry—choose your own favorite female poet and bring some spiritually focused poetry to the meeting to share and discuss.

We need volunteers for goodies and milk.
