America’s Original Sin

After the Waking up White discussion some of us expressed interest in reading America’s Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege and the Bridge to a New America, a new book by Jim Wallis exploring the roots of racism in churches. Some of us read on our own and gathered for a discussion in April, around the time of our Sacred Conversation on Race on April 10.
We will continue our discussion on May 23 at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Room. We’re using the author’s study guide for our discussion. We’ve covered session 1 and we’ll be looking at sessions 2 and 3. The study guide and additional resources are available online at americasoriginalsin.com. Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you’ve read the book or not.
