Downton Abbey Tea

Downton Abbey Tea

Save the Date and Join the Fun!

Downtown Abbey’s last episode is scheduled to air early in March, but the fun will continue at PACC’s Downton Abbey Tea Fundraiser on Sunday, May 8. Whether you have watched the show or not, this will surely be fun for all! We’ll transform the Parish Hall into a lovely English tea room. “Carson, the butler,” will welcome people at the door. While guests enjoy tea and treats served by maids and footmen, they will be greeted by “Lord and Lady Grantham” and other family members. This fundraiser is bound to be a hit and lots of fun as well. How will we make this happen? By all of us pitching in of course!

The Downton Abbey Tea Planning Team is looking for a few jolly good folks to assist us! We’re looking for people who would like to play one of the characters or dress up and help serve tea and goodies. We need a crew to organize and prepare food, people to decorate, set up, and people to improvise costumes help with a photo booth tea and goodies, and goodness knows what else we may come up with!   If you’d like to help with any of these things or if you would like to join our planning team please speak with the church office for more information.
